Four new features for the robotic lawn mower Bosch Indego 350 Connect
 

The following features are available in a software upgrade for all Gen2-models (Indego S+, Indego 350/400 Connect). The software upgrade will be available from 03/2019 and will be published on the website of Bosch and their newsletter.

Feature 1: Voice control with Amazon Alexa
All Indego Connect models can now be operated with the Amazon Alexa voice control, thanks to a free upgrade by Bosch. The following functions can be operated via voice control: Start mowing, pause or return to the charging station.

Feature 2: Mowing of multiple zones
From this year on, the multi-zone functions are available for the robot lawn mowers Bosch Indego. There are two options available:

1. Multi-zone – without an additional charging station
The main area and the additional area must be limited with the same boundary wire. The additional area must not be bigger than 40 m2. To make the robot mower mow the small area, it has to be carried there. The ancillary space is mowed in a random pattern. The Bosch Indego 350 Connect mows until the battery is low.
 

2. Multi-zone with an additional charging station
This option is suitable for ancillary areas that are not connected to the main area. In this case, the ancillary area is mowed with the smart “logicut” pattern. The robot mower returns to the charging station to regain energy. The total size of both lawns must not be bigger than 400 m2. With the Bosch mowing calendar, you can set up to three independent zones.     
 

Feature 3: Spot mowing
The spot function serves for mowing smaller spots which are in need of special treatment. It means, that the robotic lawn mower mows the desired spot spirally without mowing the whole lawn.

Feature 4: Improved battery management
The battery runtime is extended up to 50 % thanks to the improved battery management. Due to Bosch, this will not affect the battery lifespan.

Bosch Indego 350 Connect for a perfect lawn
 

The robot lawn mower Bosch Indego 350 Connect can be operated on lawns with up to 350 m2. It carries out its mowing task extremely quietly. With special wheels, the robot mower climbs slopes of up to ± 27 % (15°) and has a good hold on slippery surfaces.

Smart navigation system “Logicut”
The smart navigation system by Bosch called “Logicut” ensures an evenly cut lawn. The robotic lawn mower passes your garden in a methodical pattern, rail by rail. Therefore, it is especially efficient and fast. Firstly, the lawn edges are cut, followed by the rest of the lawn. This is why it completes its mowing task almost twice as fast as other robot mowers. It works efficiently and doesn’t leave any spot untouched.

Smart control via Bosch-app
The GSM technology enables a connection between the robot lawn mower and your smartphone or tablet. You can control and monitor the robotic lawn mower Bosch Indego 350 Connect anytime – wherever you are. Furthermore, software updates can be carried out easily via the app. On the device itself, there is a large and easy to use a display with which the robot mower can be controlled and programmed.

Robot lawn mower with auto-calendar and mapping
Your lawn will be mapped by the robot mower Bosch Indego thanks to the new auto-mowing-calendar. Afterward, the robot determines the real size of the lawn and calculates the ideal mowing cycle for your property. The Bosch Indego 350 Connect follows the calculated mowing schedule independently.

For you, this means that the robotic lawn mower individually adjusts itself to the needs of your lawn.

Furthermore, the Bosch Indego 350 Connect returns to its charging station automatically if the battery is low. After the charging, it continues its mowing task.

Robot mower with Mulch function for a lush green lawn
The robot lawn mower Bosch Indego cuts the lawn with three blades mounted on a rotating blade. The grass cuttings fall to the ground where they are decomposed and serve the lawn as a natural fertilizer. This way, the lawn is provided with important nutrients and moisture and it gets lust green and healthy.

Easy handling and installation
 

Adjustable cutting height
The cutting height can easily be set via a button on the Bosch Indego 350 Connect. There are three steps available (30/40/50 mm).

Sensors for maximum safety
The different sensors enable safe operation of the robot mower. Built-in tactile sensors and a rubber bumper avoid the collision with obstacles. In emergency situations, the robotic lawn mower can be stopped manually within fractions of a second by using the stop button.

Through the built-in anti-theft protection, the robot lawn mower locks its system if it is removed from its defined property. The lock can only be released by entering a PIN code.

Bosch Indego 350 Connect is installed rapidly
The robotic lawn mower by Bosch is ready to use in only a few movements. On the charging station, you can find useful symbols, recommending the best position. The cable can be stored in a delivery cable.

The boundary wire is tagged with marks of 75 cm. Therefore, the laying of the cable is especially easy and uncomplicated. Furthermore, there is an installation video available for this robot mower.
