Cleans framed and frameless glass surfaces
The Hobot 298 is a perfect window cleaning robot for glass surfaces with and without frames. Through in-built sensors it detects the end of the surfaces and doesn’t drop.
Suitable for different surfaces
The window cleaner robot has a particularly wide field of application because it can individually adjust to uneven surfaces. For this reason, it is not only suitable for cleaning windows but can also be operated on mirrors or surfaces covered with foil.
The thickness of the glass is not of importance, because the window cleaning robotis also suitable for multiple glazing.
A window cleaner robot for small and large glass surfaces
The Hobot 298 can be operated on small and large glass surfaces. It is important that the minimum size of 40 x 40 cm and a maximum size of 6 x 5 m is kept in mind.
Washable and reusable cleaning cloths
The window robot cleans the glass surfaces with the help of a microfiber-cloth that is mounted on the bottom side of the robot. This cloth can be washed in the washing machine and is therefore reusable.
With a dimension of 24 x 24 cm, the microfiber-cloth is particularly large. Thanks to the size of the cloth and a high cleaning speed, the robot can clean 1 m2 in only 2.4 minutes.

Ultrasonic spray system for a particularly efficient cleaning
On one side of the window cleaning robot there is a water tank with a capacity of 50 ml. This can be filled with water or a cleaning fluid. During the cleaning, the robot sprays the fluid onto the window in an ultra-fine mist. Like this, the glass surfaces can be cleaned even more efficiently.
Controlled with a remote or smartphone-app
A remote control is included in the scope of delivery with which the window robot can be controlled comfortably. Furthermore, an app is available to be downloaded free of charge. The app can also be used to control the robot (only in close proximity to because the app works with Bluetooth).
Maximum safety with an emergency battery and a safety rope
We recommend to always use the 4.5 m long safety rope when operating the window cleaner robot. Furthermore, the Hobot has to be charged before each usage because of an in-built emergency battery. This battery keeps the robot on the window for up to 20 minutes in case of a power cut.

The Hobot 298 is the successor of the customer favorite Hobot 288. It scores with a new ultrasonic spray system which allows an even more efficient cleaning as its predecessor. There are no differences known other than that.
