1. Pricing and payments
When you make a purchase, you have to be clearly informed about the total price of the goods or services inclusive of all taxes and additional charges.
Surcharges: fees for the use of cards and other means of payment
If RoboCleaners wishes to surcharge you for using a specific means of payment - for instance a credit card - then the fee cannot be higher than what it actually costs him to process your payment.
Charges for additional services
You must give your consent to any additional payment requested by RoboCleaners, for example express delivery or gift wrapping.
2. Guarantees and returns
RoboCleaners must repair, replace, reduce the price or give you a refund if goods you bought turn out to be faulty or do not look or work as advertised.
You have the right to cancel and return your order within 14 days, for any reason and with no justification.
Guarantees for faulty goods
- Free of charge, 2-year guarantee (legal guarantee) for all goods, except accessories & batteries 6 months
You have the right to a minimum 2-year guarantee at no cost.
If goods you bought out to be faulty or do not look or work as advertised, RoboCleaners must repair or replace them free of charge or give you a price reduction or a full refund. Batteries also enjoy a 24-month guarantee, but from the 7th month after delivery you, the consumer, must prove that the defect already existed when you received the article/after purchase. If the consumer cannot provide proof that the battery defect already existed at the time of delivery, RoboCleaners is no longer obliged to repair or replace batteries free of charge.
As a general rule, you will only be able to ask for a partial or full refund when it is not possible to repair or replace the goods.
When repairing or replacing the Product, RoboCleaners may use products or parts that are new, equivalent to new or re-conditioned.
What is not covered?
Unless agreed in writing, the guarantee will not apply if the defect(s) relate to: (a) normal wear and tear (including, without limitation, wear and tear of batteries), (b) defects caused by rough or inappropriate handling or use or damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning or other acts of nature, (c) the fact that the battery has been short-circuited, if the seals of the battery enclosure or the cells are broken or show evidence of tampering or if the battery has been used in equipment other than those for which it has been specified, (d) non-compliance with the Product instructions, (e) wilful or deliberate damage, neglect or negligence; (f) use of spare parts or other replacement items (including consumables) which are not provided or recommended by us; (g) any alteration or modification to the Product which has been carried out by you or a third party not authorised by us, (h) any failure to adequately package the Product for transportation, (i) extreme or external causes beyond our reasonable control.
The guarantee does not apply to accessories and other consumable items, such as filters or brushes. Please note: If it is a second-hand product, the guarantee is the minimum legal period of one year.
You might not be entitled to a refund if the problem is minor, such as a scratch.

The 2-year guarantee period starts as soon as you receive your goods.
Cancel and return your order
- 14 days to cancel and return purchases made outside shops (online, by phone or mail order)
This measure applies only to internet sales to consumers. This provision therefore does not apply to any natural person in the course of his commercial, industrial, craft or professional activity, nor to legal persons.
You have the right to return these purchases within 14 days for a full refund. You can do so for any reason – even if you simply changed your mind.
- How to cancel a purchase?
The "cooling off" period expires 14 days after the day you received your goods. For service contracts, the "cooling off" period expires 14 days after the day you concluded the contract. If the cooling off period expires on a non-working day, your deadline is extended till the next working day.
You must inform RoboCleaners of your decision to cancel the purchase. It is not enough to just send the goods back. You must inform RoboCleaners of your decision to withraw by using the contact form “Contact us”.
You must send the goods back within 14 days of informing RoboCleaners.
RoboCleaners must give you a refund within 14 days from receipt of your cancellation, but can delay refunding you if they have not received the goods or evidence that you have returned.
This refund must include any shipping charges you paid when you made your purchase unless you specifically requested non-standard (express) delivery.
The customer has to pay the costs of returning the goods. Products must be returned, as far as possible, in their original packaging, with all accessories provided, and in their original condition.
The customer is responsible for the depreciation of the products resulting from handling other than those necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and proper functioning of these products. The customer is also obliged to respect the products and handle them with care.

3. Shipping and delivery
RoboCleaners should deliver it to you within 30 days – unless you specifically agreed on a different delivery time.
You must always be clearly informed of the total price for your purchase, including delivery and other related costs.
Different prices for delivering items to foreign countries can be justified.
You must give your explicit consent to any additional costs, for example if RoboCleaners wishes to offer you express delivery, or gift wrapping.
RoboCleaners is responsible for any damage to the goods from the time of dispatch until you receive them.
If an item you bought turns out to be faulty or doesn't look or work as advertised you are entitled to ask for it to be repaired, replaced or, where neither is possible, a refund. Find out more on guarantees.
If you don't receive the goods within 30 days, or within the mutually agreed period, you must remind RoboCleaners giving an additional, reasonable time limit to deliver. For example, if the trader has informed you that delivery is delayed by a week because of problems with his suppliers you should consider giving him an extra week.
If RoboCleaners still does not deliver within the extended deadline you're entitled to terminate the contract and be reimbursed as soon as possible.
Any dispute is governed exclusively by Belgian law. Only the Justice of the Peace in Brussels (Dutch chamber) will have jurisdiction unless other legal provisions.
